Garden Party
Saturday found me photographing a wonderful garden party to celebrate a 50th birthday. Held in a glorious garden near Romsey, the weather was perfect and over 100 guests had a lovely time enjoying the buffet and listening to the live band.

New Services
After looking at the current wedding market and customer requirements over recent months, we are about to offer some new and innovative services to our clients. The wedding business is ever changing and many photographers let themselves get stuck in a rut or fail to listen to their potential customers,
Watch this space and our price list over the next couple of months to see some new ideas being offered.

Another Sunny Wedding
Rachel and Stuart got married  at All Saints, Dibden on a glorious sunny day.
after the service the reception was held at Elmers Court, one of my favourite venues in the forest.
With guests from many parts of the UK and the world (Rachel's sister travelled from Australia) it was a truly international affair.

Easter Weddings
I photographed two weddings over the Easter weekend.
First was Kieragh and Peter at Goodwood Park Hotel on Good Friday and then Caroline and James at Hilliers Gardens on Saturday.
The weather was very sunny and hot for both and they
they both went very well with lots of lovely spring pictures.

A Thank You from Lidia and Neil
Lidia and Neil got married last year at The Clock Barn and sent this thank you message:

Geoff,

Just wanted to thank you again for the great service you have provided for our wedding photographs. From start to finish your experience and professional approach has really shown through in everything: planning the day's schedule beforehand, organising everything and everyone for the video and photos on the day and even working your magic with the album layouts afterwards. Most of all, the quality of the photos really is fantastic, your skill is plain to see as we have so many happy shots to keep forever. Your efficiency in turning round the photos after the day and preparing the album has also been excellent, we wish you did more than just weddings! Keep up the good work, we will definitely be recommending you to our friends.

Another Lovely Thank You
I received a lovely card recently from Claire and Lee who picked up their wedding album at the weekend. Here are the words:

We would just like to say a big thank you for the incredible job you have done on our
wedding photos! Lee and I are so pleased with our album and both our parents
albums. Thank you also for the day. You have captured our memories beautifully!
We will be sure to recommend you to our friends.

Any Ideas or Suggestions?
I am always happy to receive ideas or suggestions from couples to improve our service or for new products or services. Many of the things we currently do are because couples have asked for it or suggested it. For instance, many couples have been telling us that this year is very tough financially and that although they still want good photography, their budgets will not stretch to our top price packages. We have introduced and alternative site with some budget packages, still great photography, but with alternative benefits and albums. Please send us your ideas in an email to
geoff@theimageworks.co.uk
with any ideas.

Giraffes at Marwell
I did a job recently at Marwell Animal Park, covering the opening of a special disabled toilet facility. There were a group of disabled children invited along and we all visited the Giraffe House. The only way for me to get good shots was to go in the keeper area with the Giraffes. They are very cute and cuddly considering their size, but it's quite disconcerting when an enormous head starts nudging your ear.
